Conversation:
Here's how it went...
Me: Zoe did you know that the baby's ears are developed enough now that he can hear us? He might even recognize our voices when he is born.
Zoe: You mean the baby has big ears?
Me: (laughing my tail off) Not exactly. His ears are just big enough to hear us now. They aren't huge or anything, I hope.
Zoe: Oh (long pause, then she leans in close to my belly) Hey there baby. How's it going in there?
Now that she understands what I meant, she talks to my belly all the time.

No Foolin'....
It has been a busy week. Rob and I undertook a sewing project together. We recovered the infant carseat for the baby. We did this last time for Sydney and we didn't want a pink and yellow floral car seat for our little man. Sew....sew.....sew some more. Finally it is finished. Yay! Also Rob got promoted (officially) and Zoe got registered for kindergarten. My big girls is growing up so fast (insert a sniff and a tear from Mommy). Nanny is coming to town this weekend and staying through Easter. The kids are on countdown for that. With easter just around the corner and me being in heavy nesting mode (read: there is way to much to do and absolutely no time in the day........) I feel even more distracted than usual. The belly is still growing - as if I could stop it if I tried. Rob has been working really hard at his new healthy eating and excersize regime and is losing weight pretty rapidly (finally under 200lbs) so we figure we will meet in the middle at about 175 near my devidery date. Haha.
